What happens at lunchtime?

Morning school ends at 12.10pm. Your child can have school lunches which cost £1.95 per day or £9.75 per week. We are happy to operate a flexible lunchtime arrangement – you can opt for your child to have lunch on any number of days in the week (as long as we know in advance and receive payment on time!)

Please let us have payment for the week (or term) in an envelope labelled with your child’s name, class and arrangements for the week on a Monday morning (or first day of term). Cheques should be made payable to “North Somerset Council”.

Please note that your child’s class teacher will accept cash only in a labelled envelope. A receipt will be given for all cash over £10.

If you think you might be entitled to free school meals, please ring the School Admissions Team on (01934) 888888 or come to the school office for an application form.

Your child may prefer to bring a healthy packed lunch contained in a small, named lunch-box and a drink in a compact container (no fizzy drinks please!).

If you want your child to go home for lunch then he or she should be picked up from the classroom at 12.10pm and returned no earlier than 1.20pm for the start of afternoon school.
