Clubs and After School Activities
Children have the opportunity to take part in a wide variety of clubs and activities during lunchtimes and after school, including maths, science, makaton (sign language for the whole school community including parents), gardening, cooking, country dancing, music, choir, multi sports and football. Not all clubs and activities run all year round and not all are for all year groups, but you will receive letters about any clubs and activities for your child.
Most clubs are run by school staff and there is not normally a charge for these. However, there may be a charge for after school activities run by an external provider in line with the School’s Charging & Remissions Policy.
There is a French Club that runs after school on Thursdays. There is a charge for this. For more information or to book a place please call 01285 740 196, email admin@clubs4kids.com or visit www.clubs4kids.com
Year 2 children have the opportunity to learn the violin during the school day. Children are taught in groups of up to four and there is a charge for lessons.
