We are very pleased to announce that a Children’s Centre – a comprehensive resource for local families providing access to services for young children – will open on the Yatton Schools’ site sometime in the early part of 2008.

The Centre will be a real benefit to local communities of Yatton, Congresbury, and the surrounding area. It will benefit our schools in many ways, and we plan to organise some events for parents of both Yatton Schools in the New Year to provide you with more information on this project.

When: Saturday 3 November – Gates open at 18:00
Where: Hangstones
Tickets: £2.00 for a single or £6.00 for a family ticket in advance (available from ‘Clives’ or the Post Office). Prices on the night will be £5.00 for a single and £10.00 for a family.

We’ve just carried out a ground inspection… and are pleased to announce that the School Sports Day will go ahead as planned today. 2:00pm start.

Fingers crossed, the weather looks set fair… at least for this afternoon.

We are delighted to announce that on 2nd July we were awarded with the Healthy Schools status at a special event in Weston-super-Mare.

As a celebration of this award, we are having a Healthy Schools Week starting Monday, 16th July.

We have lots of fantastic activities lined up for the children including yoga workshops, smoothie-making, sports coaching, our own sports afternoon… and lots more!
